Ramesh Wanjale (45) died in Jahangir hospital in Pune at about 10 pm after a cardiac arrest. He was the only Pune MLA elected from Khadakwasala constituency. In the evening, he complained of chest pains at Wadgaon Dhairi on Sinhagad Road and was rushed to Joshi Hospital, where he did not respond well to treatment.
