The Bank is funded by Bank of Maharashtra and the Bank's Board of Directors are selected by Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, RBI, NABARD and Bank of Maharashtra. Government of India, Government of Maharashtra and Bank of Maharashtra together are funding Maharashtra Gramin Bank in a proportion of 50:15:35.
