Congress-DMK Alliance Continues, Tamilna

Congress-DMK Remain Together in Tamilnadu Elections - Congress and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on Tuesday decided to continue the coalition government in Tamil Nadu elections scheduled in April as the two parties concluded on a seat sharing covenant from the point of a break-up.

Congress is probable to contest in 63 seats after DMK decided to figure following a hard bargaining and almost a close decision of splitting the alliance. Apparently, it is Congress which prevailed over DMK in yielding the seats they wanted of the total Tamil Nadu Assembly that has 235 members
