A SpiceJet flight SG-401 faced a technical snag after leaving from Mumbai airport on its way to Hyderabad. Within half an hour, the aircraft returned to make an emergency landing and the passengers disembarked safely. The Mumbai airport authorities had made full emergency preparations to tackle any eventuality. The pilot noticed a smoke alarm from the cargo hold. 140 passengers were on board the plane.
