Infosys chairman N.R. Narayana Murthy said the quality of students being admitted to IITs was of poor standard. He is of the view that the coaching institutions familiarize the students with a few set of problems some of which appear in the entrance examination . These problems the students are able to solve. Since they are able to only solve familiar problems later on they face problems.
