Vaagai Sooda Vaa is the story based on a remote village in Kandeduthan kadu, (Pudukottai). The movie takes you back into the retro year (1960s) and gives a flashback of old Madras. In a nutshell, Veluthambi (Vimal) has just completed his studies and aspires to become a government teacher. Whereas, his father Annamalai (Bhagyaraj) advises him to go Kandeduthan kadu village serve as a teacher.
