The pilots on strike, owed their adherence to Indian Commercial Pilots Association of the earlier Indian Airlines, which merged Air India eventually, have struck work demanding uniformity in pay with Air India pilots and other concerns allied to the work environment. The Air India pilots have announced strike and about 600 pilots have vouched the strike.
