Nawang Gombu fondly called the 'Tiger Of The Snow' passed away in his home at Darjeeling. He is the nephew of Tenzing Norgay and was the youngest sherpa that made up the team of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Morgay on the conquest of Mount Everest.
