The Railways has released new time-table with effect to several routes with their timings. As many as 11 new trains would be started passing through the North Central Railway region. The new time-table has completely ignored the anticipated volume of passengers commuting to and from Howrah. The railways resorted to indefinite rescheduling of trains from Howrah after Maoists blew up Jnaneswari Express on May 28, at Jhargam in West Bengal, killing over 150 passengers.
