In a ground-breaking move, a doctor at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, has performed a first surgery of sorts in Hyderabad wherein a robotic arm operated on a patient Veerabhadra Rao, 45, of Warangal. The surgery was performed at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Somajiguda in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and National University Hospital, Singapore.
