From today, Navratri festival has begun and the 'tribal icon' of the deity Mother Goddess comes into one's mind. A topnotch sculptor from Baster designed an awe inspiring idol of the Goddess in bronze holding an ornate sword and a shield (astra). She is referred to as Maa Danteshwari, Goddess of Bastar.
