The story of 'That Girl in Yellow Boots' is about Ruth (Kalki Koechlin), a British national who comes to India in search of her father- a man she barely knew yet cannot forget the memories she had while she was a kid. Ruth's quest for tracing her father drives her to work in a massage parlor in Mumbai without a work permit as survival becomes a challenge.
