UK surgeons have successfully replaced an accidentally sawed off thumb by giving the man a 'new thumb'. They replaced the lost one with his toe. Sounds a bit strange perhaps, but this is true. James Bryne, aged 29 years and belonging to Bristol, England had accidentally sawed off his thumb last December. Bryne is no doubt happy with his 'new thumb'. He told BBC news that he was 'very, very lucky'.
