Nicobar islands is an archipelagic island chain situated in the eastern Indian Ocean. These islands happened to be located SouthEast Asia about 150 Km north Aceh on Sumatra. It happens to be separated from Thailand on the eastern part by the Andaman Sea. They are part of the union territory of the Indian state Andaman and Nicobar islands.
