Supreme Court Refuses, To Direct CBSE, AIEEE Re-examination, AIEEE 2011, CBSE - YReach.com

Supreme Court has today (ie., 26th May 2011) refused to direct the CBSE to conduct the re-examination for All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2011. The Judiciary said that the Supreme Court will not interfere in the examination process as more than 10 lakhs students have to reappear for a fresh AIEEE examination.

As there were some irregularities during the May 1 AIEEE exam., there has been a call for conducting the exam again on May 11. The CBSE has made suitable arrangements for the same in a short period of time. In a related development on Thursday, the Delhi High Court had refused to stay the rescheduled exam, but issued a notice to the human resource development ministry and the CBSE, asking them to file their replies on the matter by May 18.
