The Kochi Tuskers Kerala is a Kochi franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) owned by Kochi Cricket Pvt Ltd for the IPL edition of 2011. Kochi along with Pune Warriors are the two new teams that will join the eight IPL teams. The Rendezvous Sports World bid was the second highest bid among the IPL teams of Rs. 1533.32 crores for the Kochi Tuskers.
