The Malayalam blockbuster Bodyguard is remade in Hindi with the same title, stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor as lead pair. Lovely Singh (Salman Khan), is hawk-eyed and committed when it comes to his work and aspires to set benchmark in his work. Lovely Singh is deployed as a guard to Divya (Kareena Kapoor), the daughter of Sartaj Rana, an industrialist. The committed Bodyguard, Lovely Singh's duties aren't taken positively by Divya as she finds him to be a major hindrance in enjoying her usual college fun. Divya comes up with a plan to side-track her Bodyguard's attention by trapping him in a fake love affair.
