Congress is back at its game after a gap period of 4 decades since Jayaprakash Narayana's movement, accusing the US of playing a 'behind-the-scene role' in Anna Hazare's efforts to cleanse the Indian polity of corruption. It obviously finds it more convenient of accusing foreigners about involving themselves in Indian local affairs, rather than pointing a finger at themselves for not being able to rule judiously. Focusing on US comment on Hazare's movement, the Congress is of the view that investigation must be carried out by the Government to see whether the US was behind the Hazare marches of protest and was interfering in local affairs of the country by accusing them of destabilization of the country...
