The National Talent Search Scheme of the NCERT is conducted to identify talented students to grant scholarships and help them to sharpen their skills to gain advanced skill-sets in their future area of learning. It honours and helps talented students by providing financial aid in terms of a monthly scholarship. As many as 1000 scholarships equalling to Rs. 500 per month will be awarded for each group of students appearing for Class VIII exam. two-stage selection process for award of scholarship.
