Anant Pai, popularly known as Uncle Pai, the popular children's comics writer, is no more. He beathed his last Thursday at 5 pm, at age of 81, having been bed-ridden for some time. He is said to have had a massive heart attack, but he was admitted to hospital last week as he fell from a staircase. He is survived by his wife Lalitha, 72. Together, they had celebrated their 50th anniversary lately, but had no children.
