IIT Guwahati Students, Against Corruption, IITG Students, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, IIT Guwahati

The students of IIT-Guwahati have declared their rants and raves against corruption in the capital city Assam on Sunday. About 150 students have participated in the protest march that was organized. The students trekked 4 KMs from Sonaram High School to Latasil Field, a symbolic place in Assam, where all the Government functions including the Republic Day Parade are conducted there.

The students of IIT-Guwahati have declared their rants and raves against corruption in the capital city Assam on Sunday. About 150 students have participated in the protest march that was organized. This entire episode lasted for two hours with a strong objective to convey the point to the Government and administrators that endurance for corruption will not be accepted any further. Ravish Vasan, an IIT student said, "Our cause was voluntarily supported by various organizations here". The protest march was kicked off by social activist Meeny Choudhury and Vinay Khandelwal.
