With chantings of 'Sirigannadam Gelge' (Long live Karnataka) echoing in the air, the three-day Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana kick started in the garden city of Bangalore on Friday, Feb 4 organised by the Kannada Sahitya Parishath.
The Sammelan is back after 4 decades and is being held this year at National College Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. The event will feature book/poetry reading, open houses by authors/poets and discussions on the challenges faced by the community, Desi Culture and the anxieties and a special session on the place of humour in Kannada literature.Read more at www.yreach.com
