World Cancer Day is held on 4th February every year. World Cancer Day is a global event made to raise the people's consciousness of Cancer and how to watch for, detect or treat it. It was first adopted at the World Summit Against Cancer on 4th February 2000.

It was first adopted at the World Summit Against Cancer on 4th February 2000. Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and World Health Organisation (WHO) are together responsible for the absorbing of World Cancer Day globally.

On this day People from Privates, Governments and other organisations work together to help the general public learn more about the different types of Cancer, such as lung cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer and cancer in children and focuses mostly on its treatments and preventative measures.
